Roger is a CPA, Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) professional with more than 25 years' experience as VP in risk management for various global financial institutions.


Roger has a multi-decade background in risk management for Asian financial institutions. He has a strong track record as Assistant General Manager, Risk Management at Industrial Bank Co Ltd, where he led the implementation of operational risk management frameworks and various risk projects. He was also previously VP, Risk Management, Bank of China International and Manager, Risk Management, Standard Chartered Bank.


Roger holds several prestigious professional memberships, including Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA Aust.) from CPA Australia, Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is also an Accredited Mediator with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).


Roger has a Master of Science in Global Finance from Stern Business School, NYU, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Robert Gordon University with distinction. He also completed a Master of Social Science in Corporate Communication from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Information Technology Law from Hong Kong University. Furthermore, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
