Kelvin Wang

Kelvin is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and minor in Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins University. At JHU, Kelvin has led various computer science projects including developing a mobile app to automatically fill in paper forms with relevant medical patient data and a custom-built AI-powered college admissions chatbot.

Kelvin has also been involved in environmental-focused research working for the microbiology department at The University of Texas at Austin to help researchers understand the properties of a unique material produced by the Leafhopper insect. Additionally, he has researched new materials capable of capturing carbon dioxide with molecular simulations and recently published a paper in the American Chemical Society. Outside of school, Kelvin enjoys photography and works as a photographer for JHU’s fashion magazine.
