Sandrine Ramboux, CFA

Sandrine is result driven, no nonsense, customer focus, creative, avid learner and team leader. She is also a big idealist and dreamer believing that everyone has a good side.
After 20y career in investment banking, she took a 90 degree pivot and created first the Turkish social enterprise C@rma in 2014; C@rma's mission is to inspire and mobilize professionals to use together their expertise to support Turkish civil organisations in a qualitative way. Carma joined the Global Pro Bono network in 2014.
In 2017, Carma incubated the refugee based initiative JANA to support small projects from disadvantaged women (Turkish and syrian) and give them the skills, the mindset and the community to build sustainable economical businesses.
In 2019, Carma then incubated together with Olga Blasco, Ekip, a women social cooperative located in Istanbul, producing and selling delicious and well balanced healthy meals to business people in the midday. See more below together with our lessons learnt document.
In 2022, after participating to the Alpbach Forum she decided to put her energy, skills and network into the fight against climate change to accelerate the transition.
Sandrine is a CFA Charterholder, a Responsible Leader from the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt , Member of the Global Diplomacy Lab and Robert Bosch Foundation alumni Network. She is also a member of the European Women on Board. She has been a speaker at various events like Türkonfed, UN Women, TEDx at Collège of Europe in Bruges, Turkish Win, UNDP Social Good summit or at the 3rd European Crowdfunding Conference in Paris.
