John Palmisano

Mr. Palmisano is an expert in environmental and energy matters. He created the first global emissions brokerage firm, which he sold to Enron, where he was global head of environmental markets. He then developed a greenhouse gas brokerage and environmental trading business, four “green” NGOs in the U.S. and Europe, and a $100 million “green” energy fund for the EU. He has conducted energy and environmental studies for the US Congress, the Canadian government, the US EPA, the OECD, and the World Bank. He has advised governments, trade associations, companies, and environmental advocacy groups on energy and environmental trading, environmental auditing, sustainability, “green-energy,” and climate change policies., and currently advises firms on the use of blockchain for environmental trading systems.
